ZAR6-1 Zaratite $28 SOLD
Lord Brassy Mine, Heazlewood River, Tasmania, Australia Zaratite, Ni3(CO3)(OH)4·4H2O is a secondary nickel carbonate, and the best examples come from the Lord Brassy Mine in Tasmania. This specimen features a bright green, bubbly coating of Zaratite. At 60 x under the microscope, I believe I can spot a few crystal faces, but most of the green coating is devoid of faces. Galleries
