Walking back to the temple where we were renting a room, we got some nice views in Takayama city.

An uncharacteristically messy entryway puzzled me, until I looked up & saw the baby birds nesting on the lamp.

Entryways are graced by potted plants.  This 4-leaf clover intrigued me.

The floats that are not in the museum are stored in their respective neighborhoods in these unusual garages.

This museum was unfortunately already closed for the day.  We could easily have spent another week here.
