Udacha pegmatite field, Aldan province, Khabarovskiy Kray, Far-Eastern
Region, Russia A sharply-formed, partially translucent, Baveno-twinned crystal of Orthoclase (KAlSi3O8) from a very unusual locality. Acquired from Dmitriy Belakovskiy, a curator at the Fersman Mineralogical Museum in Moscow, during the 2011 Tucson show.

Calcite with Pyrite and Marcasite $17
The Calcite crystal on the right has transverse growth lines in two stripes down the center of the crystal, and a very nice phantom.

Calcite with Pyrite and Marcasite $18 There is an unusually-shaped crystal, visible as the largest crystal in the upper-right photo, that is shown in close-up in both bottom photos. It has a Calcite overgrowth capping its bottom face (see lower left photo), through which the bright inclusions can be seen in the lower right photo.
